Founder: Buddy Chin

Buddy's Trophies & Advertising Specialties opened its doors on March 1, 1960. The store was originally located on Douty Street and called Buddy's Trophy and Bowling Supply, its main focus being the bowling industry. Bowling supplies, ball, bags, shoes, etc and bowling trophies were the primary retail items. As the popularity of bowling faded and the need for trophies in other sports grew so did Buddy's Trophy. Eventually the business changed its focus again and now does trophies and advertising specialties, which puts corporate logos or personalization on hats, shirts, pens and thousands of other items for corporations and individuals. The business moved to its current location on 8th Street in 1993.

 

We have changed over the years, just as the industry and the needs of the community have changed. We have a very diverse clientele and produce items for customers all over California. We still do all of our engraving in-house and custom build over 90% of the awards that we sell.
